Simple System Setup Guide
Basic setup for beginners - everything you need to get started.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Step 1: Install the Extension
1. Log into your ColdDMs Pro dashboard
2. Click "Download Extension" in the top right
3. Follow Chrome's prompts to add the extension
4. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access
Step 2: Connect Your First Account
1. Click the ColdDMs Pro extension icon
2. Select "Add Account"
3. Choose your platform (Instagram or X)
4. Log into your account in the popup window
5. The extension will automatically sync your account
Important: Account Warm-Up
New accounts or accounts that haven't been active need a warm-up period before sending DMs at scale. Skipping this step significantly increases ban risk.

Step 3: Create Your First Campaign
1. Go to the Campaigns tab in the dashboard
2. Click "New Campaign"
3. Name your campaign and select the account
4. Add your target lead list
5. Write your opening message (use AI Copywriter for help)
6. Set your sending schedule and delays
7. Save and activate your campaign
Recommended Starting Settings
For new users, we recommend these conservative settings:
- DMs per day: 20-30 maximum
- Delay between DMs: 3-5 minutes
- Active hours: 9 AM - 6 PM (your timezone)
- Days: Weekdays only initially
As your account builds history, gradually increase these limits.
