Multi-Account Management

Safely manage and operate multiple accounts for scaled outreach.

Why Use Multiple Accounts?

Running multiple accounts lets you scale beyond single-account limits:

Benefits:

  • Reach more prospects without hitting individual account limits
  • Spread risk across accounts (if one has issues, others continue)
  • Test different messaging strategies simultaneously
  • Target different audiences or niches per account
  • Maintain better account health by staying under daily limits
  • Account Structure Strategies

    There are two main approaches to multi-account setups:

    Strategy 1: Identical Accounts

  • Same niche, same offer, same messaging
  • Simply scales your volume
  • Best for proven campaigns
  • Strategy 2: Segmented Accounts

  • Different accounts for different audiences
  • Each account specializes in one niche/offer
  • Better for agencies or multiple product lines
  • Connecting Multiple Accounts

    1. In your dashboard, go to Settings → Accounts

    2. Click "Add Account" for each account you want to connect

    3. Log into the account when prompted

    4. Grant the necessary permissions

    5. Label each account clearly (e.g., "IG-Agency-Main", "IG-Agency-2")

    6. Repeat for all accounts you want to manage

    Browser Profile Management

    For best results, use separate browser profiles:

    Why: Instagram detects multiple accounts from the same browser

    How:

    1. Create a new Chrome profile for each account

    2. Install ColdDMs Pro extension in each profile

    3. Log into only one Instagram account per profile

    4. This keeps sessions completely isolated

    Using Proxies for Multiple Accounts

    If running 5+ accounts, consider using residential proxies:

    What: A proxy gives each account a unique IP address

    Why: Prevents Instagram from linking accounts by IP

    Recommendations:

  • Use residential proxies (not datacenter)
  • One unique IP per account
  • Use sticky sessions for consistency
  • Quality proxy services: Webshare, Bright Data, Smartproxy
  • Daily Limits Per Account

    Stay within safe limits for each account:

    New accounts (< 30 days):

    - 20-30 DMs per day maximum

    Established accounts (30-90 days):

    - 50-75 DMs per day

    Mature accounts (90+ days):

    - 75-100 DMs per day

    These limits are per account - with 5 accounts, you could send 250-500 DMs daily.

    Campaign Assignment

    Organize campaigns across your accounts:

  • Assign each campaign to one or more accounts
  • Balance workload across accounts evenly
  • Don't overload any single account
  • Rotate accounts if one needs rest
  • Track performance by account to identify issues
  • Monitoring Account Health

    Keep all your accounts healthy with regular checks:

  • Check each account's status daily
  • Watch for action blocks or warnings
  • Monitor reply rates (sudden drops indicate problems)
  • Ensure accounts are warming up properly
  • Pause any account showing issues immediately
