Chrome Extension Setup
Complete guide to installing and configuring the ColdDMs Pro Chrome extension.

System Requirements
Before installing, make sure your system meets these requirements:
Installation Steps
1. Log into your ColdDMs Pro dashboard at colddmspro.com
2. Click the "Download Extension" button in the top navigation
3. Your browser will prompt you to add the extension - click "Add to Chrome"
4. Once installed, you'll see the ColdDMs Pro icon in your browser toolbar
5. Click the icon and sign in with your ColdDMs Pro credentials
6. Grant the necessary permissions when prompted
Pinning the Extension
For easy access, pin the extension to your toolbar:
1. Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in Chrome
2. Find ColdDMs Pro in the list
3. Click the pin icon next to it
4. The extension icon will now always be visible in your toolbar
Extension Permissions Explained
The extension requests these permissions for the following reasons:
Read and change data on instagram.com/x.com - Required to send messages and interact with the platforms
Storage - Saves your preferences and campaign data locally
Notifications - Alerts you about campaign status and new replies
Background - Allows campaigns to run while you browse other sites
Troubleshooting Installation
If the extension doesn't install properly:
- Make sure you're using a supported Chromium-based browser
- Disable any ad blockers temporarily during installation
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Check that third-party extensions are allowed in your browser settings
- Try restarting Chrome after installation
Keeping the Extension Updated
The extension updates automatically, but you can manually check for updates:
1. Go to chrome://extensions in your browser
2. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right
3. Click "Update" to check for and install any available updates
4. Updates include new features, bug fixes, and security improvements
